Security Guard Training can vary in depth of instruction and length of class to suit your requirements.

A skilled force might only need a qualification course, which could consist of firing at a B-27 target for score. The positions fired should include; retention, weak hand, barricade, instinctive/flash sight multiple rounds, "mozambique" multiple rounds and multiple targets. Time allowed for firing per position shall be agreed upon by the client and instructor prior to the course. A two hour, 50 round, course with a maximum of six personnel would start at $75.00 per person.

A more in depth class would be instruction on the latest techniques in grip, stance, instinctive/flash sighting, trigger management ( DA or SA ) and follow through for the fastest second shot. The class would fire the same target and positions with instruction between the positions and a relaxed time allotment. A four hour,100 round course with a minimum of students and maximum of six personnel would start at $125.00 per person.

A class with instruction and shooting as listed above followed by the two hour qualification course with a maximum of six personnel would start at $150.00 per person.

Worth noting is that drawing from a holster always brings the liability of someone shooting themselves from not being proficient in that skill, an issue the owner will have to consider. The exercises performed in the classes can also be started with the gun in hand or from the bench.
